What you can expect as an Senior Accountant at West Star:
As a Senior Accountant, you will serve as a key architect of our financial integrity, taking full ownership of the reports that drive our business forward. You won’t just track assets and liabilities; you will provide clear financial snapshots—from profit and loss to tax positioning—that empower our leadership to make informed, strategic decisions. This role offers the opportunity to dive deep into our fiscal health, ensuring every balance sheet and income statement is a precise reflection of our success. We are looking for a sharp, analytical mind to oversee our core financial activities and maintain the highest standards of accuracy. By managing everything from daily reconciliations to complex tax reporting, you will be instrumental in safeguarding the organization’s future.

What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education:
A bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance or related discipline required.
CPA license preferred or an intent to obtain CPA.
A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Your Experience:
Three to five years of accounting experience required.
Extensive knowledge of general financial accounting and cost accounting.
Highly proficient with accounting software.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or similar software.
Knowledge of Corridor and Great Plains Dynamics preferred.
Knowledge of FinQuery for Leases is preferred.

Compensation & Benefit Information
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The salary range for this position generally ranges between $80K - $95K. Actual rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, as well as medical, dental, vision, life, disability, 401(k), paid holidays and vacation time.
