What you can expect as AOG Technician (OMA) at West Star:
The AOG Technician will report to the regional AOG Manager. You must live within a reasonable driving distance to OMA Airport or be able to relocate as a condition of employment. Technicians will be responsible for completing time-sensitive aircraft repairs in the field. This position requires the technician to display a professional demeanor and project this atmosphere to our customers while working in sometimes unfamiliar locations throughout our region. This challenging position is key to providing our customers with the same exceptional service they are accustomed to wherever their aircraft may be while working with minimal supervision

What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education
A High school diploma or equivalent and Airframe and Powerplant License are required. A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal.
Your Experience:
The successful candidate for this position will hold a valid A&P certificate and have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience providing maintenance on one of the following aircraft:
Embraer Phenom 100 & 300
Embraer Legacy/Prator
Hawker 800/900
Cessna Citation Series
Dassault Falcon
Bombardier Challenger 350/650
Bombardier Global 5000/6000
King Air
Your Initiative:
We’re looking for team players who are self-motivated and able to perform in a fast-paced environment where working under specific deadlines and time constraints will be common. You must be able to perform repairs effectively and quickly in short notice, high-pressure situations.
Your Sense of Responsibility:
Attend work every day as scheduled to include overtime and weekend assignments.
Notify supervisor in advance of shift starting if unable to work.
Must have reliable transportation to get to work each and every day.
Perform all work in accordance with Federal Aviation Administration guidelines.
Follow all company and safety rules during performance of duties.
Maintain customer-oriented work habits.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.

Working Evironment
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration. The employee is also exposed to a variety of extreme weather conditions. The noise level in the work environment and job sites can be loud.

Personal hand tools supplied by the mechanic.
Pneumatic, hydraulic and electrical equipment.
Jacks, stands, lifts and other support devices.
Tugs, power carts and other engine powered equipment.
Crimpers, soldering iron and heat guns.

Compensation & Benefit Information
The following information is disclosed according to state specific requirements. If the position applied to is not in a state with these requirements, the following information may not apply. The hourly rate for this position generally ranges between $30.00- $65.00. Actual hourly rate will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience and performance. Additional compensation in the form of a shift differential will be provided if the employee is assigned to an alternate shift. The range listed is just one component of the total compensation package. Other forms of compensation include a semi-annual discretionary bonus, 401(k) company match and employer contribution to a Health Savings Account (HSA).
