What you can expect as a CAD Specialist – Aerospace at DAS Aviation:
As a CAD Specialist at DAS Aviation, you will be the digital backbone of our aerospace manufacturing operation. You will transform complex engineering concepts into precise, manufacturable reality by creating, managing, and optimizing high-fidelity 3D models and production-ready drawings. This versatile position bridges the gap between design and production, offering a dynamic environment where you will directly support our shop floor, maintain rigorous aerospace compliance, and provide critical backup CNC programming capabilities.

What you’ll need to bring with you:
Your Education:
A High school diploma or equivalent.
A valid driver’s license approved for airline travel and/or a valid passport is ideal, but not mandatory.
Your Experience:
3–5+ years CAD modeling and drawing experience.
Strong proficiency in CATIA (required).
Experience with Autodesk Inventor (required).
Strong understanding of GD&T; and drawing standards.
Experience working from provided models and technical data.
Familiarity with Mastercam (preferred, not required).
Exposure to CNC machining processes.
FAA Part 145 or AS9100 experience.
