What you can expect as a Nacelles Supervisor at DAS Aviation: 
In this role, you will report directly to the Repair Station Manager and provide high-level leadership and technical guidance for our Nacelles and Heavy Structures department. You will go beyond the desk, supervising, assisting, and ensuring that assigned personnel are adhering to strict Quality and Repair Standards while maintaining an absolute focus on safety. You will leverage your extensive experience with aircraft technical data to analyze repairs, coordinate shop workflows, and drive maintenance excellence. 

You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including: 

Workflow & Production Management: Review component repair orders with the Repair Station Manager to assure planned work scopes conform to delivery requirements, establish shop priorities, and sequence component repairs to meet operational schedules. 
Technical Guidance & Compliance: Assure department personnel are utilizing current, valid technical data—including Manufacturer's Maintenance and Overhaul Manuals, Service Bulletins, parts specifications, and FAA-approved data—for all maintenance accomplished. 
Team Leadership & Training: Perform personnel evaluations, provide guidance on career development, and actively assist employees with proper work procedures. Assure daily O.J.T. and mandatory annual recurrent, formal, and specialized safety training are properly executed and documented. 
Quality & Safety Assurance: Ensure all department employees follow the Repair Station Quality Manual, observe essential safety precautions, and properly execute all planning sheets and work order discrepancies. 
Facility & Tooling Oversight: Maintain department safety and cleanliness daily, ensuring all work areas, shop equipment, and specialized tools are in serviceable working condition with current calibrations. 
Inventory & Asset Protection: Initiate purchase requisitions for work orders and stock inventory as required, while ensuring the proper handling, preservation, and storage of aircraft parts throughout the entire repair, shipping, and receiving cycle. 
Interdepartmental Coordination: Coordinate with supporting departments to implement planned repair methods and optimize shop processes for all components. 
Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and understand the English language. 
Any other job-related duties as assigned by supervisor or management.  

What you’ll need to bring with you: 

Your Education 
High school diploma, GED, or equivalent. 
FAA Mechanic Airframe or Repairman Certificate is required.  

Your Experience 
3–5 years of aircraft or aircraft component maintenance experience (nacelle experience highly preferred). 
Proven experience working with structural repairs and components within a Part 145 repair station environment. 
Strong background reading, researching, and interpreting technical data, including overhaul manuals, service bulletins, and FAA-approved data. 
Prior experience providing technical guidance, training, or direct supervision to maintenance personnel is highly preferred. 
Excellent attention to detail with a quality-driven mindset.

· Follow and enforce all company safety rules and precautions during the performance of duties. 
· Maintain customer-oriented work habits and department-wide professionalism.  

Other Particulars: 

Physical Requirements 
Lift at least 50 lbs. 
Routine walking, bending and squatting or sitting. 
Routing or repetitive physical motion with arms and hands. 
Personal computer operations on Apple and Microsoft products especially Outlook, Word, and Excel spreadsheets.
Work on elevated platforms (up to 40 feet in the air) using fall protection safety gear. 

Mental Requirements

Working Conditions 
The majority of work will be accomplished in a shop environment which can include very hot or very cold temperatures.
