What You Can Expect as the Senior Manager, Enterprise Transformation & Execution:
The Senior Manager, Enterprise Transformation & Execution will lead complex, cross-functional initiatives that advance West Star Aviation's most important strategic and operational priorities. This role turns broad objectives and ambiguous business problems into decisive initiatives, practical solutions, and measurable results. This position combines structured problem solving, business analysis, process and operating model design, project leadership, technology enablement, and change execution. The successful candidate will shape the substance of the work, frame recommendations, facilitate decisions, and drive implementation through sustained adoption. The ideal candidate is an action-oriented generalist who moves comfortably between strategy and execution, works credibly from the frontline to the executive level, and advances outcomes without relying on direct authority.
You will be ESSENTIAL to many FUNCTIONS including:
Enterprise Transformation and Structured Problem Solving
Lead complex transformation initiatives from problem definition and fact-base development through future-state design, implementation, and stabilization.
Translate strategic priorities into structured workstreams with clear outcomes, deliverables, decisions, milestones, dependencies, and measures of success.
Build a fact base through stakeholder interviews, process observation, data analysis, document review, and external research; identify root causes and distinguish among process, organizational, technology, data, governance, and behavioral issues.
Evaluate alternatives and synthesize complex information into clear recommendations, business cases, operating models, decision materials, roadmaps, and executive presentations.
Independently drive multiple interconnected initiatives, identify risks and unresolved decisions early, resource constraints, and move practical paths to resolution forward.
Process, Operating Model, Technology, and Data
Assess and redesign end-to-end processes, workflows, handoffs, roles, decision rights, controls, governance, and performance measures across enterprise value streams such as quote-to-cash, customer experience, service delivery, capacity management, and operational planning.
Simplify fragmented practices, establish clear cross-functional ownership, and balance enterprise standardization with legitimate business-line, customer, site, and operational requirements.
Translate future-state designs into functional requirements, user stories, acceptance criteria, workflow rules, data needs, reporting requirements, and prioritized technology enhancements.
Serve as the bridge between business and technology teams, challenge unnecessary customization and off-system workarounds, and ensure solutions address the underlying business need.
Execution, Change Leadership, and Performance
Build integrated implementation plans, lead workstream meetings and design sessions, coordinate internal and external partners, and maintain accountability for commitments and decisions.
Develop practical implementation approaches that integrate process, technology, organization, training, communication, and governance changes.
Anticipate resistance, build credibility with affected teams, and lead pilots, testing, training, and readiness activities that refine solutions before broader deployment.
Establish baselines, targets, leading indicators, and outcome measures; provide concise, decision-oriented updates to executive sponsors and steering committees.
Measure actual adoption and business performance, address reversion to prior practices, and transition completed initiatives into sustainable business ownership with clear accountability.
Ensure project-management activities enable execution rather than becoming administrative overhead.
